Your Golf Clubs
Please bring your clubs in your Gladney Cup golf bag with the provided temporary bag tag. Everyone will receive their temporary bag tag with their assigned tee time and starting hole in early September. If this is your first Gladney Cup (or you have communicated that you need a replacement Cup golf bag) those will be shipped to you in early September as well. We will let you know when to watch for both of these items.
Shipping Your Golf Clubs
Please consider utilizing Ship Sticks to ship your clubs directly to The Riviera Country Club. They are offering a 20% discount for Gladney Cup participants. You can find out more here. If you decide to use Ship Sticks, be sure to put your temporary bag tag on your clubs prior to shipping.

Senior Tees
For golfers 65 or older, you can exercise the option to tee off from the senior tees at the Riviera Country Golf Club. Handicaps will be adjusted. Please contact susanne.smith@gladney.org to let us know your preference.
Tournament Play
The Gladney Cup format is two best ball net of handicap. In addition, we will be including a “Ryder Cup” like format again this year. Each foursome will compete against another foursome on a handicap adjusted basis and the overall team winning the most matches will be our “Ryder Cup” Team Champion.
Caddies
Caddies will be provided for each foursome. The Caddie fee and tip is covered by your entry and handled directly through The Riviera Country Club and Gladney. If you feel your service was exceptional, please feel free to add an additional tip, but it is certainly not required.
Attire
Each golfer will receive a Gladney Cup shirt, outer layer, and hat to wear during the tournament.
Your attire corresponds with your “Ryder Cup” team and will be delivered to your hotel room on Sunday evening. Guests staying at private residences or hotels other than the Wilshire will receive their attire at The Riviera on Monday. Based on the selections we have made; we recommend either gray or khaki golf pants.
The use of metal spikes is prohibited on the course, and spikes are not allowed inside the Riviera Country Golf Club.
Gladney Cup Jackets
We encourage all Gladney Cup Jacket holders to bring and wear your jacket on Sunday evening at The Champions Dinner and on Monday evening at the Awards Dinner.
