The Gladney Center for Adoption, founded more than 100 years ago as one man's mission to find loving homes for orphaned children, stands today as an international leader in adoption services specializing in international and domestic adoptions.

The Gladney Center for Adoption has placed more than 26,000 children in forever homes and assisted more than 36,000 women experiencing crisis pregnancies.

The idea for the Gladney Cup golf tournament began in 1999 with a Gladney adoptive parent who, like so many, wanted to give back to the agency. The charitable dollars The 2005 Gladney Cup is expected to raise will go toward enhancing the agency's adoption programs that are helping children in this country and around the world.

Gladney's ABC (African-American and Biracial children), New Beginnings (for children with medical or emotional needs) and international adoption program, which places children from Eastern European, Asian and Latin American countries, are the primary beneficiaries for the fund-raiser.

Through comprehensive flexible programs for birth parents, adoptive parents, and adopted persons, the non-profit Gladney Center is committed to providing unequaled services to all clients.
